I joined the team responsible for launching Kindle in Japan. As a visual designer, my role was to create online merchandising materials for Kindle, Fire Tablets, Fire TV, and other Amazon devices. Working in both Tokyo and Seattle gave me a unique opportunity to understand the similarities and differences between Japanese and American customer needs.
